SEA Electric (http://www.sea-electric.com/) - MYOB Advanced

Before moving over to MYOB Advanced, SEA Electric was using two disparate systems. Accounting and payroll went through Xero, but because it couldn’t manage production and assembly, NetSuite was used for those areas. Spreadsheets filled in the gaps. Using two systems meant a lot of repeated data entry and reconciling numbers, extra work – and increased errors – for an already busy team. Read about the solution here.

Residentia (www.residentia.group) - MYOB Advanced

Residentia Group is a leading supplier of electrical appliances to retailers throughout Australia, including Bing Lee, Betta Electrical and Buyrite Group. Its turnover tripled in its second year of existence, and has doubled in successive years since. Starting out with a user-friendly, Cloud-based system, Residentia’s rapid growth soon overtook the system’s capabilities. The discrepancies between Finance and Inventory meant staff were often working outside the system on spreadsheets. Residentia’s warehouses nationwide are managed by a third-party logistics firm, and handling orders via email brought the risk of errors, which might not be detected for some weeks. Mediterranean Wholesalers import some of Europe’s finest and best known food brands. You may not even know it, in fact, but there’s a good chance you have one of their products somewhere in your pantry right now.

For many years, Mediterranean Wholesalers had been using the standalone payroll package PowerPay. It was a fairly robust system, but not ideal for multiple entities. There was no way of integrating it with time clocks either, which is something Mr Madafferi wanted in his store to capture staff hours more easily. Already familiar with MYOB, he approached BusinessHub to implement a new solution. Here’s the results.
